Overview

CourseFacts is a directory and comparison tool for online courses. We respect your privacy and collect minimal data necessary to operate the service.

Data Collection

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. It sets first-party analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) and sends usage data, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device information and referrer, to Google. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

Analytics cookies can last up to two years. Visitors in the EU, EEA and UK are asked before analytics loads. Anyone can change their choice at any time using Analytics choices here or in the footer. Rejecting stops analytics and removes its cookies.

You can block analytics cookies through your browser cookie controls or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Clerk uses cookies for sign-in and session management. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send. Basic server logs may be retained temporarily for security and debugging purposes.

Third-Party Services

Guide comments use Giscus and GitHub Discussions. Commenting requires GitHub authorization, and comments are stored on GitHub.

When a site key is configured, we use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Cloudflare processes browser and device signals, including IP address and browser details.

This site is hosted on Vercel. Their infrastructure may process standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent) as part of normal operations. Please refer to Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.
